Christian Foundations
October 26 – November 16 | 1-2PM
Whether you've been a Christian for 20 years or 20 minutes, Foundations is for you! This 4-week course is designed to set the foundation for growth in biblical literacy by grounding you in the teachings of Jesus and core tenets of ancient Christianity. Topics include: The Story of the Bible, The Atonement, The Holy Spirit, and The Gospel & The Great Commission.
This set of 4 classes meets at The Resting Place at 1 PM on Sunday afternoons. Please bring your Bible, notebook, and a pen. Childcare and coffee are provided!
*** Because The Resting Place values discipleship over volunteerism, Foundations is required before you join a serve team. If you want to serve, make sure you sign up for Foundations first!
*** Foundations is also a *required* pre-requisite for the Certificate Program.

Adopt a Family

Join us Christmas Eve at 4pm for a special one-hour candlelight service!

NYE Worship & Communion

We are once again hosting our New Year's Eve Worship service at Sacred Heart Cultural Center! This evening is going to be such a beautiful time of worship as we consecrate 2026 unto the Lord.

- Doors open at 9:30 PM
- Worship begins at 10:30 PM
- At midnight, we will share in the sacrament of communion together
- Parking is available in the lot across the street from the Sacred Heart Cultural Center (on Green St).
- Childcare is available for The Resting Place members only. Children will be kept at the church, drop off starts at 9pm, pick up no later than 1am. If you need childcare, register your children here!
